Hey there! It’s Ari Rox, and I thought it’d be fun to share some quirky and interesting facts about me that you might not know. So, grab a comfy seat, and let’s dive in!
My First Performance: I’ll never forget my first performance at a local music group in Cuba when I was just five years old. The stage felt like home, and I knew right then that music was my true calling. It was a magical moment that I’ll always cherish.
Childhood Memories: One of my favorite childhood memories is singing along to my mom’s favorite songs. We’d have little karaoke sessions at home, and those moments really sparked my love for music. It’s something I hold dear to my heart.
The Most Heartwarming Encounter: One of my favorite moments from my performances was when I sang at First Friday. After my performance, a little girl, around four years old, came up to me and told me that I sang beautifully. That day, I realized that even if I didn’t perform perfectly, I touched someone’s heart. It reminded me of why I started singing in the first place—to share music and connect with others. This experience taught me not to be too hard on myself and to enjoy the journey more.
My Love for Books: Ever since I was little, books have been my escape. I could spend hours lost in a good story, imagining myself as the heroine. It’s actually one of the reasons I wrote my song “Book Guy”! I wanted to capture that feeling of comparing real-life boys to those perfect book characters.
Fashion is My Jam: Besides music, fashion is my other passion. I love experimenting with different styles and expressing myself through clothes. It’s like wearing your personality on your sleeve. Sometimes, I’ll spend hours mixing and matching outfits just for fun!
Feline Friends: I have three adorable Sphynx cats named Gigi, Mickey, and Lilo. They’re hairless, so they look a bit like little aliens, but I love them to bits! They’re my little companions, and they always know how to make me smile.
Dream Dinner Guest: If I could have dinner with any artist, it would be Michael Jackson. He’s such an icon, and I’d love to learn more about him as a person and musician. I bet he has some incredible stories to share!
Unwinding with Hobbies: When I’m not making music, I enjoy reading, drawing, and spending time in nature. I love getting lost in a good book or sketching whatever comes to mind. It’s my way of relaxing and recharging.
Staying Active: To relax and clear my mind, I love exercising and organizing my room. There’s something so satisfying about a good workout and a tidy space. It helps me stay focused and energized.
Thanks for reading! I hope these personal and unique insights about me have given you a deeper understanding of who I am beyond the music. It’s always great to share a bit more of myself with you. Stay curious, and let’s continue this amazing journey together.
